My father was in the hospital that day. My sister and niece were visiting him. When they realized the tornado was going to hit my dad was in the recliner in the room so my sister moved him, recliner and all to the hall. He held on to the handrail that goes around the floor. My sister laid on top of him to help protect him. When it was over my dad, sister and niece were the only ones left in the hallway. Daddy sent my sister into his room to get his house slippers. You are confusing pressure reducing valve with pressure restricting valve, both terms are not interchangeably as you say. Please check NFPA 14 paragraph 3.3.16 (2019 edition). Your video is showing a pressure restrictive valve, so it is better to change the title of your video to "Pressure Restrictive Valve Hose Connections".

Everyone do yourself a favor first remove the cap and install one with a petcock / 1/4” drain valve… perform your open-closing test, then drain off the pressure remove the drain cap perform your visual inspection … reinstall original cap perform your visual inspection then replace with the
